Gratuity Rates The gratuity rate for fully-catered buffet-style events is 18% (or as otherwise quoted). The rate for fully catered sit-down events is 18% (or as otherwise quoted). The rate for supplied events under 25 people is 18%; 25-39 people it is 15%; and for 40 or more people it is 10%.
